Excited to attend workshops, sessions, and network with fellow attendees—but need childcare for your little ones? We’ve got you covered. Our on-site programs are designed so you can enjoy the convention with peace of mind.
Infant & Young Child Daycare (Ages 3 months – 3 years)
Our KOA Convention Daycare is specially designed for infants and toddlers ages 3 months to 3 years. Located inside the convention center, it allows you to stay close while attending sessions and events.
Safe & Comfortable Care: Cribs and nap mats are provided to ensure your child is comfortable and well cared for throughout the day.
Age-Appropriate Activities: Children will enjoy engaging, age-suitable activities to keep them happy and entertained while you attend the convention.
On-Site Only: No off-site activities are included for this age group.
Kids Kamp (Ages 4 – 12)
KOA Kids Kamp offers a fun, engaging experience for children ages 4 to 12. While you participate in convention activities, your kids will enjoy a memorable program filled with fun and friendship.
Adventure & Fun: A mix of on-site activities including crafts, games, puzzles, movies, and free play.
Supervised Excursions: Age-appropriate off-site outings led by experienced, caring staff.
New Friendships: A safe, welcoming environment where kids can connect and have fun.
Important Registration Policy for Kids Kamp
To ensure proper staffing, planning, and a great experience for all participants, please review the following:
Registration Deadline: All children must be registered by October 10.
Why Early Registration Matters: Early sign-up allows us to secure staffing, plan activities, arrange transportation, and ensure adequate meals for all participants.
No Late or On-Site Registrations: We are unable to accept late or on-site registrations.
The maximum age of 12 (at the time of camp) is a firm requirement established by our childcare provider, and no exceptions can be made. This includes the requests for "helpers" for older children.

Kids Kamp Out and Abouts!
Here’s a recap of four exciting activities the kids will be enjoying at Kids Kamp:
Kansas City Zoo Adventure: Kids will have a fun-filled day at the zoo, feeding the penguins and observing the playful gorillas and majestic giraffes.
Extreme Screen Theatre Experience: They'll spend an afternoon at the theater, immersing themselves in thrilling films on the giant screen that will take them on amazing journeys.
Exploration at the Arvin Gottlieb Planetarium: The kids will be captivated by interactive astronomy education, spectacular shows, and telescope viewing, making it a perfect connection to the wonders of the night sky.
Science City at Union Station: This hands-on experience includes various activities like climbing and racing at the Simple Machines exhibit, learning about water in "Every Last Drop," and getting creative at the Maker Studio. They'll also explore the Nature Center to observe animals and engage with exciting exhibits about energy and the universe.
