Are you heading to the KOA Convention for the first time? This page is your guide to making the most of this exciting event.

-WHAT TO WEAR- Dress comfortably for all convention activities, but don't hesitate to elevate your style for the final night’s dinner. Comfortable shoes and layered clothing will help you adjust to the varying temperatures at the convention center. Bring at least one yellow shirt for the group photo day!

-ARRIVAL- Plan to arrive early! The 2025 KOA Convention & Expo kicks off at 6:00 PM on Monday, November 17th with the Opening Reception at Market Hall! Grab your badge at the convention center any time between 12 PM – 6:00 PM.

-CHECK-IN- Mark your calendars—convention check-in begins on Monday, November 17th, at the convention center. Get your badge before the festivities! The KOA Convention check-in desk will be open from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM inside the main entrance to the Raleigh Convention Center.

-MEALS- Indulge in the delicious meals provided! Breakfast and lunch will be served on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, along with dinner on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. If you have specific dietary requirements or special meal needs, please inform us at the time of registration. It’s important that we know in advance, rather than at check-in. Thank you for your cooperation!

-WORKSHOPS- Jump into the workshops—no pre-registration is needed! Attend the sessions that pique your interest. Consult the schedule for various options and repeated sessions to maximize your experience. If you miss a session, don’t worry; you will have online access to convention workshops after the event.

-FIRST-TIMERS EVENT- Is this your first KOA Convention? If so, we invite you to join us for the First Timers Reception at Market Hall at 5:00 PM, just before the main Opening Reception. This is an excellent opportunity to meet, connect with other first-time attendees, and spend time with the FBC Teams!

-KOA EXPO- Get ready to shop at the KOA Expo! Review the list of exhibitors beforehand so you can strategize and prioritize your visits. Many attendees spend over five hours in the exhibit hall, so plan accordingly to ensure you see all the vendors you want to connect with. The KOA Expo offers the best prices of the year, with most vendors providing exclusive show specials and the option to delay shipping to your campground if you manage a seasonal park.
