If you're attending the KOA Convention for the first time, whether you're a new KOA owner or a seasoned manager, this page is designed to guide you through the details of the event.

WHAT TO WEAR

Attire for all convention events should be comfortable. Consider dressing up for the final night dinner. It's advisable to wear comfortable shoes and layered clothing to adapt to the varying temperatures at the convention center. And don't forget to bring at least one yellow shirt for the group photo day!

ARRIVAL

Make sure to arrive early! The 2024 KOA Convention & Expo will begin with our opening reception on the evening of Monday, November 18th. Arrive in advance to participate in pre-convention activities, enjoy additional networking opportunities, and explore the beautiful city of San Antonio. Don't forget to review the convention schedule for complete information.

CHECK-IN

Please note that convention check-in will be available on Monday, November 18, from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., at the convention center, located next door to the host hotel. Follow the KOA signs for directions. NEW this year is onsite badge printing! To expedite this process have your convention registration confirmation email with QR code handy to scan and print your badge. You must check in and get your name badge before heading to Rita's for the opening reception! Security does require name badge credentials for entry to the reception.

MEALS

Breakfast and lunch will be provided on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with dinner served on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have any specific dietary requirements or need special meal accommodations, please make sure to indicate this when you register for convention. Meals are included as part of your convention registration.

WORKSHOPS

You must register to participate in the pre-convention workshops at the San Antonio KOA on Monday, November 18. No pre-registration is necessary for convention workshops; attend the sessions of your choice. Consult the schedule for multiple session options and repeats to maximize your opportunities. In case you miss a session, online access to convention workshops will be available post-event.

FIRST TIMER'S EVENT

Ensure you attend the first-timer's event hosted by KOA's Franchise Business Coaches! This is a fantastic opportunity to meet other first-time attendees, network with owners and managers, expand your network, and even participate in fun games to win exciting prizes!

KOA EXPO

Prepare for some major shopping at the KOA Expo! Take some time to review the list of exhibitors so you can plan and prioritize your visits. Many attendees spend 5 plus hours in the exhibit hall, so plan your time accordingly to ensure you visit all the vendors you are interested in. The KOA Expo offers the best prices of the year, with most vendors providing show specials and the option to delay shipping to your campground if you run a seasonal park.
